The painting is done and now we live in a red house! We both think it looks fantastic and have had many neighbors comment on how wonderful it looks. It feels like one house now instead of three houses pushed together. The one side of the back with its different window sizes and types (glass block) looks quirky and modern rather than rundown and lopsided. A coat of paint is an awesome thing. Since ending preschool, Kitty has been missing her good friend Keely. Her mom and I just set up weekly playdates so they will get together frequently. Below is a picture of Kitty and Keely... they've been friends for 3 years... and that is a long time when you aren't even 5 yet!
It looks awesome! I keep meaning to do a drive-by now that it's finished but it was so neat to watch it get painted while they were working!
